I was in my school library the other day and decided (because I have nothing better to do during breaks) that I would read a bit of Twilight (I have a like/hate relationship with the book. I like the storyline as a whole but I hate the whole sparkly vampires, the fact that Bella is a flat character with virtually no flaws and no personality whatsoever, and that half the book is basically about describing how perfect Edward is (I have not read the book. This is according to BattleForTheSun)).
While I did not find any of the books in the Twilight saga, I did find The Host.
I was pretty much laughing my ass off when I saw the condition of the book. It looks like someone dipped the book into what looked like coffee (although it smells too sweet to be coffee, so I'm guessing it must be medicine or something).
Anyway, I just knew I had to post this so that we Twilight haters (I'm more of a Twilight disliker, but anyway...) can have a laugh at this work of art.

P.S. It was probably an accident. But I'll just assume for the sake of shits and giggles that it was done on purpose by a Twilight/Stephanie Meyer hater...

Yeah well, a lot of books there are damaged. Hell, the first two pages of Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone are missing.
I was not impressed.
I'm just glad they took The Green Mile of the shelf, because it they did what they did to The Host on that book, I would have summoned hell upon the Earth.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I remember there were 5 rows of just Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn, and The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner in this one shop I go to.
What happened to the good old days when the Harry Potter series, The Hobbit, and The Lord of the Rings was THE shit?
At least the Percy Jackson series is catching up and, more recently, Bran Hambric.

Oh well, on the bright side, at least Twilight has gotten people to read again. Although I have to admit, when it comes to typing and sending hate mail to twilightsucks.com, the books really do not help the Twitards' spelling, grammar and punctuation.

But we can all agree that Harry Potter is the reigning champion in that department.
