When I was in grade 7, there was a girl in my class who was bullied relentlessly for her curly hair, her lack of makeup, her clothes that were deemed "uncool", her studiousness, and her shyness. Many times, the kids in her class would gang up on her and taunt her, making her cry a few times. This was her then:

Now, this girl is 18, she's turned out to be completely gorgeous, she won a full scholarship to one of the best universities in the country, she has a ton of friends, and she's well on her way to becoming a doctor. This is her now:

If you have EVER bullied anyone or witnessed bullying but didn't do anything about it, think about what I've written and be ashamed of yourselves. Some kids just go through an awkward stage and you have no right to make it miserable for them. Everyone has so much potential, and think about how devastating it would have been if this girl had simply had enough of the teasing and committed suicide or something equally as drastic. Think of the loss that would have been, and of the wonderful person she's turned out to be. Don't judge people. Period.
