Obviously he's way overprized. It's like you sell your best strike to spend almost as much on a mediocre one, it's not the smartest move imo. With Torres and Suarez in Liverpool it would have been interesting to watch because that's a good striking force up there, now we'll have to see how it's gonna work out.
Football/Soccer Fans - Messi or Ronaldo?

Yeah I agree Suarez and Torres would have been interesting, although I dare say so will Drogba and Torres, if Drogba picks up his form.
-
I think the combination Torres/Suarez would work better than Drogba/Torres. Drogba is pretty much a completed striker who requires a lot of space in the box. With Torres up there with him they might not work that well together. We'll see though
-
Messi is a league above ronaldo he's already been voted player of 2010 and his alround playing is equal if not better than ronaldo
-
True, but I think that if Torres gets back to full fitness he'll be a goal machine at Chelsea where he will actually be getting good service for goals, plus he's pretty bloody quick when he's at full fitness, quicker than Drogba I would say, and he is more of a finesse player, whereas Drogba is strong as hell, so they have a bit of a 'double barrelled' attack if you know what I mean.

And @ Ben Jacques, I totally agree dude. I think he's been better than him for a good 3 seasons. -
Depths is getting a bit old now so torres might be a replacement.

Damn auto correct I meant Drogba -
i think if it was a one on one game, ronaldo would be better, but messi is a much better team player.
if i had to pick one to start a pro team with, i would take messi instead of ronaldo -
Both of them are good players, deserving to be the best ones in the world: Ronaldo (2008) and Messi (2009).
But Messi got Ballon D'or for the second time  why?
why not Xavi, why not Sneijder?
-
I guess it doesnt really matter anymore since ronaldo is retiring
-
Messi I think. He can rip a team to shreds, and he has done it on soo many occasions. He is probably the best player of his generation and he is only 23. I think if he wins the World Cup with Argentina I think he may go down as one of the greatest players of all time.
Ronaldo though, I don't think many people realise how well he has done with Madrid since joining from Manure (Sorry Utd fans, old habits die hard). Like he has become the fastest player in the clubs history to score 50 goals, 50 goals in 51 games. Thats just incredible like.
I have a joke: Ronaldo once said that the God of Football sent him to Earth to show the people how to play brilliant Football. Messi then said, I don't remember sending anyone.People think the Irish are a bunch of drunks and brawlers, and that makes us soo mad sometimes that we just want to get drunk and punch somebody. -

Im sorry. I still love ya. Please forgive me I wish Liverpool could play the way Utd do really now though, its the way we used to play in the 70s and 80s when we ruled the world.People think the Irish are a bunch of drunks and brawlers, and that makes us soo mad sometimes that we just want to get drunk and punch somebody. -

I always feel sorry for Liverpool at the moment :(.

They'll rise next season though, if they keep the current manager

Is everybody ready for the new portion of CL games? :D
