I love Billy Elliot!! Have you seen the musical. It's incredibly if you get the chance I highly recommend it. Billy Elliot + Elton John... where could it go wrong“Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”

Billy Elliot is a gay-themed movie? I thought he's straight. -
No one will ever know if Billy was gay or straight... but his friend would cross dress, so there was quite possibly a gay sub plot there.“Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”

OMG I watched Prayers for Bobby last night. Such an amazing movie! I'm pretty sure I cried through the whole thing. This is coming from somebody who never really cries during movies. (I've only cried from one other movie)

I first saw Billy Elliot on a cruise. I was about 11 when I went on a Gulf of Mexico cruise. It was on the television in the room when we were going to sleep, and I have been in love with it ever since.
You never really know if he is gay because he has the chance to kiss the girl in her room, but he doesn't go through with it. He has another chance with the girl when she offers to show him her "fanny". Overall, it was a great movie.
I've never seen PFB, and I don't think I will. I'm not all into movies where I KNOW the ending is going to be sad.
Eating Out was pretty funny though. -

You should see the musical. It was an incredible show. Especially because it was pretty much my favorite movie as a kid and to see it modified for a live stage show. I went to see it with mum when it opened in Sydney (first production after West End) and Elton John actually came to the premiere and got up and did a huge encore with the whole cast. It was incredible.
