The pill isnt healthy, in my opinion. Now scientists and doctors are linking estrogen and other contraceptive hormones to heart disease and breast cancer. Adolecents shouldnt be taking them at all, I dont think. Your body is still developing and theres no way in hell you need more hormones pumping thorough your veins.

I opted for and IUD (InraUteren Device) No hormones, you still get a period monthy, but its actually more effective than the pill because you often forget to take the pill. My boyfriend's mom got pregnant with her last son because she forgot to take the pill for one day.

My girlfriend and I were going to do it for the first time when she had basically finished her period, but in the end (yesterday) she was on the pill, which stopped her period completely, obviously.
