Hell yes, I'd creep everyone out by writing something and including the exact date of my death in there. -
I think deep down everyone WANTS to know, but what you want isn't always the best way to determine what is necessary. Sometimes knowing nothing is better than knowing it all. Most people understand that concept, which is why most people would be against it.

I would want to know the date of my death because as a not so outgoing person I think I would take a lot of risks (socially) before my death. Also I would get credit cards and take a really nice trip a week before I die lol.:hugs:[SIZE=4]BunnyChu[/SIZE]

Ignorance is bliss. It sounds great, until you get to the morning of the day you're supposed to die, can you imagine how much that would suck?

I think I would rather know.
I guess it comes from my family experiences. My mother has a lot of medical issues, and we've never known how long she has or what she'll be able to survive. My father has different medical issues, but no less severe. Sometimes my family and I tiptoe around it, ignoring all the problems, but most of the time we just live and let live.
It makes death not seem like such a scary thing. I know I have bad genetics headed my way, and a lot of people get scared when they know that.
After so many years I've just accepted it, and life starts to seem like this adventure, a new experience. Death will just be another experience, whenever it happens.~*~

I wouldn't want to know until about a month before, so that i have time to accept it and I'm not spending all my time thinking "Oh my God I'm going to die", but also to get in everything I want to do.

No, Because if I did I'd probably be stupid enough to no give a damn the whole time but then when the day arrives be paranoid as hell.

There is a film which does look at this question, it's called Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World. But as opposed to you knowing your death date, everyone has the same death date as a meteor is going to destroy the Earth.
I personally would like to know when I'd die, not because I'd play my life around my death, or drop out of education/work because of it, but so I can do the stuff I've always wanted to do before my death. -
If I had to choose, I would want to know. However, anxiety is a bitch, so I would regret it for the rest of my life.

No. I don't want those sort of thoughts prevent me from having the life I seek. I want a life without worries, and one I can live the way I want. Just having thoughts of death will conflict with that freedom, because I rather not let those thoughts let me down. I rather feel sad at the verge of my death than all the life leading to it.
