I have a few programs on my laptop which have been working fine. Then a few months ago they all stopped working. I load them, they open, then in about a few seconds that shut down. It's not minimised and the processes aren't in task manager. Any help please?
Programs closing by themselves

What kind of programs are we talking about here? For some programs, if you haven't done the latest updates from the Net, they'll refuse to open old versions. Or, like the person said above me, you might want to do a virus check and make sure your firewall is up because the programs might be bugged or infected.~*~

I have all the latest updates, reinstalled the latest versions of the software. i have done a virus scan and it came back clean. I've also done a shell scan on the folder of each program and still nothing.
Btw, it's all programs to do with video converting/creation. -
Okay, perhaps the programs aren't fully compatible with the processor you're operating on? It's possible that the newest software updates could now make the program and OS incompatible.~*~

Which malware scanner did you use? -
I suggest that you go to software developers website and read the logs there if they have mentioned any problem like that.
Also check if the software supports your current OS, incase you've upgraded.
