i was a late bloomer.
I think it's harder on boys though since they place such high social value on athleticism??

Guys definitely look at each other to see their package size and some what compare with what they have.Do girls do the same ? Like check out / compare breast size, pubes, or even lips size ?Kara Zor-El wrote:

As a late blooming boy, I would think it's bad for everyone who's early or late. It can also be more obvious for girls since there are changing body parts that are far more visible when dressed. Not all boys get muscular or more athletic. Either way, nobody wants to be different in puberty, neither among the first nor last.Kara Zor-El wrote:

for girls, most of their equipment is inside and what little there is no see is not pushed forward in the same way so I would think you would have to quite deliberately look, not take a quick glance and pretend you're not like boys typically do.

talking about shaving, isn't the hair both sexies grow kinda more obvious than any gradual changes in our genitals
Looking and seeing "oh god girl you've got pubic hair " I'm sure is more obvious than "let me get my tape measure out, yes your penis has grown a little bigger"

Meanwhile, from toddlerhood to the start of puberty it seems like penis growth lags behind the rest of the body then, at puberty it starts growing pretty quickly.

Yep I came to think the same. Until 12/13 yo, it looks like me and my 4 yo bro were about the same size, like it didn't grow much from 4 to 12. I find that weirdSean2001 wrote:
