Playstation 4

Haha, no. Xbox> Playstation. The only feature I'd possibly buy a PS4 for would be if it had backwards compatibility, and even then I doubt it.

yes

yes, of course. but the greatest thing about the release of the PS4 is that it will significantly drive down the price of the ps3 and maybe compel the hackers to jailbreak even newly-released models. i still havent played a lot of ps3 games so making its games cheaper will be awesome. then i can move on to ps4.

Yeah I'll probably get the PS4. But there are hundreds of awesome games for the PS3 that I haven't purchased yet, and I'm not really concerned with buying the latest and greatest games. So, I'll probably wait a while after the PS4 is released (spending that time playing "new" PS3 games), then I'll buy it at a reduced price, with it being a year or more after its release. This is the way I save money when buying video games and consoles.
TLDR; Why the need to buy the latest hit video game when there are no doubt thousands of other, older ones at a cheaper price? -
Yes for sure. I will be getting one if it has backward compatibility.

The only reason I even have a console is because of halo. Halo is Xbox exclusive. Therefore I do not buy playstation. I prefer the pc any day.- Ghukek

Have you heard of the original Halo? It's for PC. But yes, I understand that all the Halo games after that were Xbox exclusives -

Halo PC was a shitty port of the Xbox version. That hardly counts. Halo 2 was also ported, terribly, to PC as well. What's your point, though? Who cares about decade old games? -

Yes but what does that have to do with anything? The only reason I have an xbox is to keep up with the Halo franchise. I don't give a rat's ass that the original Halo game was ported (and as ari said, poorly so) to the PC. I play Halo 4, not Halo CE.
My old computer could play Halo CE. I didn't build a brand new gaming computer so I could play a game that's been around for twelve years... I build it so I could play modern games like Battlefield 3.- Ghukek -
Halo CE was and is a classic. Sure its graphics look like mud smeared all over the screen but I think it's still a great game. More to the point, I am in no way telling you that you don't need an xbox. And aren't there more Xbox exclusive games you'd be interested in other than Halo?

360 has a lot of awesome exclusives.
Gears of War trilogy, Fable 2+3, Alan Wake, Condemned, Crackdown, Forza series, Lost Odyssey, Demon Souls, Viva Pinata, Splinter Cell Conviction, Earth Defense Force, etc etc.
And a course there's a fuckton of awesome games that used to be 360 exlusive but were ported to PS3 or PC: BioShock, Saints Row, Mass Effect, Metro 2033, Dead Rising, Left 4 Dead. -
Yes![SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]Thank you, Mario, but our princess is in another castle!
