Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. THEY FIGHT IN THE CAUSE OF ALLAH, SO THEY KILL & ARE KILLED. A TRUE PROMISE (binding) UPON HIM IN the Torah and THE GOSPEL and the Qur'an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah ? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment. 9:111
FYI: Our 'Jesus' (peace be upon him) is not the hippie man-god of Paul's imagination. There is nothing recorded in history about a 'hippie man-god' who preached 'love your enemy' while his people (even children & babies) were being crucified daily along the roadsides & robbed blind with taxes to Rome.
HISTORICAL FACT: Jesus in the Qur'an fits the historical writings & archeological evidence. The First century records a long savage guerrilla war by the Messianic Jews / Zealots against a brutal Roman military occupation. ALLAH tells us in the Qur'an that Jesus called the people to JIHAD/WAR (QUR'AN 9:111).
