I'm a 17 year old guy, with really annoying parents who enter my room like 10000 times a day, whenever they wish to, most of the time we also end up in a fight, I've tried to make them understand that I need my personal space but they clearly don't respect my perspective and think parents can do anything. also my asshole dad locks the lock with the gate open so I can't close the door as the lock part comes out and the door can't be closed anymore and he takes the keys, also he takes my phone everytime we end in a fight, he's like in his 60's and thinks of taking my phone for no reason at all every time he comes in, he thinks that it's a solution. Things like these are fucking up my life and I've got some serious anxiety and depression issues due to this, I take out my anger on a punching bag but I can't take it anymore it's too annoying . I think of running away but I don't think I can work in India at this age and I also want to complete my education to have a good life. any ideas on what to do?
My parents keep barging into my room

Hey! That situation sounds terrible. I'm sorry for you.
Do you have other siblings you can talk too? Like grandparents for example or and uncle/aunt?
Other than that i would suggest to get help from authorities. Teachers or an official office for the problems of kids and teenagers.curious open-minded short but not so short guy from Germany. open for conversations/PMs, all topics, all ages, all genders -
My parents come in my room all the time too

I'm so sorry, I know exactly how miserable that is, my parents did the same... no boundaries, and I hated it. Unfortunately i never found a solution, count the days until you can be out on your own.

I must confess, I agree.
And welcome to Teen Hut! -
You r 17, just kick your parents arses, if they don't respect your privacy. That's was my first thougt. And I still stick with it.

Maybe barge in on them a lot ?
-
mum use to, then one day she barged in and saw something she didn't want to now if the doors closed they all knock
-
She saw you folding laundry didn’t she?
-
yeah that's it

We had the same problem but we did what MW24680 did, we moaned and had out hands under the covers. My friend had a box from a wand vibratory I put next to my bed. My mom barged in and saw me and our sister in our beds doing it separately and said lock the door next time
Yup we wonJewles2005 -
We all knock in our house it’s rude to barge in no matter who you are
-
Hey i know how much irritating that is but i do not think there is something you can do at the moment. Since you are 17 i think its best if you just be patient a little bit longer finish school get a job and move out. Its very unfortunate that most parents do not respect their kids privacy.

Dam, i thought i had it bad with my lil bro barging in on me. but my parents pretty much leave me alone
-
Barge into theirs a lot
they set the precedent -
My parents are pretty much the same as the OP's
There is no lock on the doors and when I tell them not to barge in they are like "why that ? What are you doing in there ? Are you doing something you shouldn't ?" -
With fun at heart, try to make small traps or prank them somehow, when they just come in like that.
An idea of less fun, could be to reverse the disrespect and barge in on their most private situations. Or it they are doing something delicate "Be quiet, don't push" activity, you will smash the handle and rip the door open, like they probably do to you."Comedy is like sex.
