You don't decide anything of that nature lol. You just are.
As far as realising goes, the country I grew up in (Laos) has a cultural thing where female friendships and social circles can get very... Intense is the word I think? And a lot of girls end up getting physical together as a bonding thing. It's also common for older girls at schools to start relationships with a sort of mentor role in teaching younger people about sex in a fairly hands on way.
These were fairly normal things for me and a lot of others and were not considered "gay" as much as they were considered "girls being girls" but when we moved to New Zealand nobody did them and I realised that I only ever got turned on from other girls. -
When I first kissed a girl in elementary as a dare. I was like shi- this hit different. We started dating soon after which just confirmed.

As mentioned in another post, you don't "decide" to be a lesbian. It doesn't work like that!
i consider myself bi (but lean STRONGLY towards girls) but it took me a while to work things out. Growing up, especially in jr high, i guess i always knew but was not quite in a place to name it. Like i would look at other girls, but who doesn't at our age? Glancing at others, being curious, you know. That's normal. I would tell myself i am just curious, maybe more than most girls that is for sure. The turn in thinking was at the new years eve party, my funny and adorable friend joked that since we were both at there alone she was gonna kiss me at midnight. Haha, i thought. Very funny. Well turns out she did! And i liked it. Over the coming weeks she was just kinda playfully flirting with me when whenever we were out with friends and at school and i was like.... wait is she serious?.... finally one day i got the courage to make a move and eventually she became my gf. Now ex, but still glad it happened. i learned a lot about myself. -
That's more or less what has happened to me. I like boys, but sometimes I do feel so attracted towards girls...

I haven't decided. Just found the person to click right with, and it happened to be a girl.
Yet I've been thinking of this for some time, I admit it. -

How many lesbians are there?

I think I'm gonna wake up tomorrow and decide that I'm gonna go get me some random vag.... ??
People don't usually decide something like this on a whim. There are natural attractions, and a lot of times there are personal connections to go along with those -
It’s not a decision

I don’t think you just decide to become a lesbian, it’s not like deciding which top to buy from the shopI’m Abby or Abigail, 15, feel free to talk to me anytime

Kinda like the "decision" on who you like. When your young you have a style you like. As you get older your style can change. But still down to does a top make me . Or The "decision" for girls, does she make you . It's all an evolving thing of every person you meet

"If you try to follow fashion you'll always be chasing, and probably never catch it. If you be yourself and make your own style, fashion might just bump into you one day." -

I don't wanna look at anything else now that I saw you
I don't wanna think of anything else now that I thought of you -
