I’ve done stuff with my youngest person and a few friends. I guess I didn’t think of it as experimenting

I’d say I’ve done quiet a lot of (silly) experiments both inside and outside the classroom haha.

I guess I didn’t realize that masturbating together and comparing now each other’s development considered experimenting

I think many, many, many dudes have experimented.

I mean is experimenting just playing a little bit of I’ll show you mine if you show me yours just kind of comparing?
Then, if you share a room, I wouldn't call being comfortable nude in front of each other experimenting and I wouldn't even include openly masturbating (yourself) in the same room. To me, that's just being comfortable enough with each other to be yourselves without being constrained by modesty.
So, for me, experimenting really means touching another person sexually to find out what it is like and whether you enjoy it. Of course, if you find out you do enjoy it, and therefore keep doing it, experimenting doesn't seem like the right word any more. That doesn't mean you should impose some arbitrary limit and then stop - if you both enjoy it then why not continue.
You may find, of course, that even though it's fun, you don't feel like you're in love with the other person. You may not even feel like you want a partner of that sex. All that's fine.
As for the original question, about doing this with siblings, I haven't done that but there are a few things to think about:
- Know the law where you are.
- You may have quite a few years left living in close proximity. Don't do stuff that will make you feel weird.
- Avoid penetration if you are of opposite sex.
- Know the law where you are.

Lost my virginity to a (guy) cousin, and we've been having sex with each other ever since. It's great. Since we're both guys, it's not like we need to worry about having mutant babies or anything.

Besides, according to some it's no different than two non-relate guy banging each other. -
