someone who said that they should be teaching this stuff before you start puberty not when you're already going through it. Not everyone is lucky enough to start puberty early.

1. Cater for the central and most populous part of the distribution, i.e. most will have the class before starting puberty but early developers will be on their own/at the mercy of whatever their parents have told them.
2. Teach it before even the early developers start and accept that means many will have the class before they have any special interest in it and that the students may have a wait of a year or two before they actually experience what they've learned about. -
It started in grade 2 (7 year old). It was just "good touch, bad touch". In later grades it got more specific. Parental consent was required. Some parents opted out for various reason, mostly religious.Vivimus Volare, Volamus Vivere,

Did anybody else have “the question box”? Just curious. We did. Put in a question on a piece of paper, and the teachers would answer it….

I remember the sex education at my boarding school being atrociously bad! The teacher clearly didn’t want to teach us stuff. We mostly learnt what we didn’t know already from the more knowledgeable boys.‘I think animal testing is cruel. They get all nervous and give silly answers’.
