Yes it's anxious when I knew it was going to happen soon but didn't know when.

Sex ed for me was really cool. They taught both girl and guy stuff together which to others was "eww" but i felt that it helps us understand the opposite gender and introduces us the future things that we may deal with.
Generally sex ed isnt really helpful in terms of teaching u masturbation or covering really deep stuff like sex practices or hygiene ig?
It just teaches u what classic changes u go through, what sex is, protection and so on.
I learnt more through talks and just researching online. My parents never told me jackshit so im thankful -
My friend said they make you take off your clothes but pretty sure hes a lier lol

I don't think it's a stupid question at all, even though I have no answer to when sex ed is supposed to be.
In my elementary school, we started with some basic information about the human body, reproduction and with that, straight intercourse at age 10, which is the last year of elementary here. For me it wasn't really new as my parents had already talked to me by then.
In secondary school, we have workshops towards the end of each year, which can be opted out of but so far, I don't think anyone in my class has, that are a lot more detailed and varied and are split into smaller groups, not the whole class. They are a lot better as they are not that focused on reproduction.
To be honest, I still preferred talking with my family. Sure it was awkward at times, but no more than with a teacher and classmates around, I don't think. -
My sister is in year 5 and just today she bought a letter home from her school saying her class will be starting it in january .
The letter gives the option of opting in or out of those lessons.
why would you want your child to not get taught this????? -
Well in your little sister’s case it’s probably a good thing for her to have the classes because you said that she’s already starting puberty correct?

Yes and I've given her lots of talks so she is all clued up on everything. -

But still going to have to find out some time so it is kinda why not just let your child learn it
