What’s everyone’s opinion on having a couple friends with benefits vs an exclusive relationship? Just curious.

If both or all parties are happy then I don’t see a problem with it as long As everyone knows where they stand
-
I don't judge. If people are happy that way, it's fine by me.Keyboard not found. Press F1 for help.

I agree with Millie and Anita"Comedy is like sex. If they haven't made a noise in a while, change what you're doing" - Sara Pascoe

Yeah, I haven't had an exclusive relationship in a while...so I can't judge.

As long as everybody is on the same page there's nothing wrong with it.

fwb is different than a relationship. both have their place and time
-
Both have their positives and negatives, you gotta work it out

The first two guys I was with were actual defined relationships, and were exclusive
After some bad experience I decided I wanted and could benefit from a friends (with benefits) situation. I have seen some argue against it, but we actually are/were friends and do things sometimes without sex ever being a part of it. I know he's wanted to be an actual relationship but I just haven't been up for commitment after the BS endings with my previous two bfs
That being said, my life situation has changed and there is now a distance between us. So, even as friends it's probably not going to be remotely exclusive anymore
Not saying that I'm looking, but I'm being realistic here.... -
Right. If that's an arrangement that works for both, then sure. As long as it is handled responsibly.
I have never had an FWB myself. But it would have to be someone i absolutely trust!! So not just some average jane that just shows up in my life. But idk, if there's super charged attraction and i am super horny than...... well never say never?? -
I prefer Fwb. I have less drama that way and a variety of partners is more fun imo.

I have friends with benefits and it's awesome! We are 'just' really good friends though, if anyone would start a romantic relationship they'd probably stop having sex with anyone else I think.19, Twin.

One summer I was living at the beach and got close to a girl. She lived far away from me during the school year but we were still attracted to each other. We decided to have a physical relationship because we knew we'd only be together a short time.

I have no ethical or moral issues with FWB but I get attached to people. I got my heart broke last summer. My FWB found “the love of her life” and entered into a relationship with them. Even though we had established it was a FWB situation up front I still feel hurt and rejected and not good enough.“Sex appeal is fifty percent what you’ve got and fifty percent what people think you’ve got.” —Sophia Loren

It's fine as long as everyone involved knows it's nothing serious. Human nature especially while we are young is to have fun and have lots of sex.
