well that's new news to me about the Philippines. I'm Filipino and I've never heard of that at all. Me, my cousins, dad and uncles were mostly circumcised at infancy or, if not, when/if the boy asked to be. Usually for health and ease of cleanliness

lol I wonder which part of the Philippines that's from. Literally have never known anyone to have taken part in that. Possibly an indigenous tribal thing or provincial thing but I can say with a good degree of confidence that a good amount of the Philippines has a much more modern take on circumcision.

I have been reading a lot of the material on the mass circumcisions in the Philistines. Many are done in large halls like gymnasiums. Dozen of boys strapped to tables and all undergoing the procedures at the same time. Makes me glad mine was done at birth.
