I think that’s the disadvantage of starting puberty early. A lot of times when guys and girls start puberty too early they grow fast at the beginning but they don’t reach the height of everyone else that started puberty at a more appropriate age. That’s why they say that they treat precocious puberty and try to slow it downLittleAnna wrote:
i've had a couple of bigger growth spurts, the first was when I was9/10 , my mum didn't think I would grow much taller after I started my periods but I gradually grew and had the second one around 12. I'm through most of puberty so don't know if I will have another one now.
Growth spurt!!

I started growing boobs when I was probably around 8 years old, but height wise I didn't hit my growth spurt until I was around 11. I shot up past all the boys in my class. Not only that, but at the same time my boobs decided to have one their own spurts as well. I looked almost completely different going into 7th grade.

I could do with a growth spurt...

Awww, don't worry. Your changes will come in time!

Yeah once the changes start they usually go pretty quick

I have always been tall for my age, but between 12-13yo I grew like 3in.

I started to grow rather steadily when I was 13

I still haven't forgiven my little sister for growing taller than me.Keyboard not found. Press F1 for help.

I feel like girls tend to have their growth spurt at a younger age than boys. From what I’ve noticed at school and from what people are saying and here it seems like girls tend to get their growth spurt at the very beginning of puberty we are boys seem to get their growth spurt kind of throughout the entire process

Don’t think I have yet

I’ve grown pretty much 5” between turning 12 and turning 13
growing pains are horrible
I’m 5’8” -
I grew about 15cm between 13 and 14 and I was already tall. And Aspen is right that growing a lot really quickly can hurt. I didn't like growing so quickly or so much but I like being tall.

I’ve already been mistaken here for a boy by a few
I’m not offended by it though -

but I think someone I was chatting to stopped because I don’t have a penis/not a gay male
That kind of reaction hurts -
My body forgot to have a growth spurt. I just grew very slowly and didn't get that tall. At least this saved my parents money because i could wear the same clothes for yearscurious open-minded short but not so short guy from Germany. open for conversations/PMs, all topics, all ages, all genders

I was tiny and short for most of my childhood until around age 14. Then for the next few years I continued growing at a pretty steady rate and while I'm not tall exactly, I'm definitely no longer short.
