Maybe its totally silly, but I've read that a lot. Does shaving make hair grow thicker or faster?

Maybe. But don't try wax!

no

i don't know about quicker but definitely not thicker. It's your hormones that makes it thicker like how pubes first start off fine and light then get darker and thicker as you develop more.

Just my experience, but when I started shaving my legs, once I started I had to keep doing, and after a bit the time between shaves got less, if that makes sense

Hasn't been my experience.

I know that doctors saying that it doesn’t but it sure seems like it does

probably looks like it does
Some looks a lot more than none. Compared to having some, and it getting a little longer

i dont shave yet but i dont think it makes a difference

No shaving does not make hair grow faster or thicker. It might appear that way when you first shave as it grows back because it is more noticeable as it first starts to grow back

certainly doesn't for me

Nope, but I heard that shaving creates a blunt end to the hair making it look darker.
