I'm just curious to hear, its one of my biggest fears in a relationship
Have you farted or done anything else embarrassing in front of your s/o?

Yeah, but I think to a certain extent an "advantage" of being gay and having your SO being another dude is that we can kind of get away with certain "guy things" (belching, farting, scratching in certain spots) that we'd never be able to get away with if we did those things in front of a girl. -
No, can't say that I have.

I mean, yeah, we've been together for over a year and a half now, and spent considerable time together (short of actually officially living together, she has stayed over at my place many times). That's part of getting close to someone; can't always hide things that are embarrassing. Doesn't mean you can't have any boundaries, but some are inevitably going to be broken when you bring someone into your life to that extent.

I think it’s normal for people in new relationships to try to avoid those things as much as possible, but if something does happen and they like you, it shouldn’t matter.

I've farted in front of my partners and been momentarily embarrassed. Queefing is always slightly more embarrassing, though also funny and whenever I do it I have to stop myself from giggling like I'm 12 again. Sometimes I fail and that's fine because sex is innately hilarious.

no, it is common knowledge that women don't fart

Before my boyfriend and I ever dated and got into our relationship his younger sister and I have been best friends for many years so he knew who I was since I was much younger and hadn't even reached puberty yet. I was over his house many times and belched and passed gas and his sister and I would crack up laughing at it. So once we started dating when I was 14 and he was 18 , I was really comfortable around him and that sort of stuff didn't bother me at all.

Yes. We fart and burp around each other. We don't really care, but he's a guy so it is what it is.
-
