This is awesome. I really wish I had this type of support when I was an 8th grader for sure. I'm still not completely comfortable joining the group at my school, but getting closer to it. Not sure why I'm struggling with that?

Yeah definitely! I'm just kind of private in a lot of ways and don't feel the need to have people knowing my business. Although I think more know than I think likely?corey_stratton wrote:

My Jr. High School has a LGBT support group that Im a member ofand now I heard that some Middle Schools (6th, 7th and 8th grade) have started similar groups. The middle school that I went to has asked me to speak to their group and do a Q & A with the kids there. Anybody have advice?

yeah i think thats the whole idea of this , its kinda experimental, they dont wanna just tell gay kids to shut up and dont ask questions, but its gonna be weird becuxz im really not much older than they are
thanks for what ya said, and yeah its been alotta work but i think its working, we had some crazy times but mostly its been cool, and the school had been really supporting us and nobody has dropped out which is good, we totally trust each other and its been easy to talk about whats goin on with each of us.Chris 16 wrote:

I wonder how such a group would handle the topic without saying gay at any jr high in Florida.
