      Manchester City are the only team with a 100% record going into the international break, Burnley and Luton are both yet to register a point.

      Luton kicked off the weekend playing there first home game which they lost 1-2 to West Ham with goals from Jarrod Bowen and a winner from Kurt Zouma in the 85th minute, Mads Anderson with a consolation goal in the 92nd minute.

      There was an early relegation six pointer between Sheffield United and Everton which ended in a 2-2 draw. Abdoulaye Doucoure opened the scoring for Everton, Sheffield United went in the the break leading with goals from Cameron Archer and a Jordan Pickford own goal. Arnaut Danjuma pulled on back for Everton ten minutes after the restart, both teams would have to settle for a point.

      Brentford scored a 93rd minute equaliser against Bournemouth Bryan Mbeumo rescuing a point for the Bees. Brentford took an early lead with a goal from Mathias Jansen in the 7th minute. Dominic Solanke levelled just before the break, David Brooks put the cherries in the lead 13 minutes from time but that goal wasn’t enough as Brentford earned a point thanks to Mbeumo.

      Heung Min Son scored a hat trick for Tottenham as they won 2-5 away to Burnley, Burnley took an early lead in the 4th minute, Spurs went in to the half time break with a 2-1 lead with goals from Son and Romero. James Maddison scored Tottenhams third goal and Son got their fourth and fifth which sealed his hat trick, Josh Brownhill scored Burnley’s second but it was too late and only a consolation.

      The shock of the day came at Stamford Bridge as Nottingham Forest beat Chelsea 0-1, Anthony Elanga with his first goal for Forrest. Chelsea dominated possession and chances but were unable to get a goal and went on to lose leaving them in 11th place with four points from four games.

      Erling Haaland got a hat trick as Manchester City put five past Fulham. Julian Álverez got city’s first, before Tim Reem brought the score back to 1-1 two minutes later. Nathan Aké put City back in from in first half stoppage time. Haaland scored three goals in the second half and take home the match ball and give Manchester City a 5-1 win.

      Brighton continue to impress and go into the international break in 4th after a 3-1 win against Newcastle United at the Amex. Evan Ferguson scored a hat trick for the Seagulls his first in the Premier League, Callum Wilson scored a consolation for the Magpies in second half stoppage time.

      Crystal Palace edged pass Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-2 at Selhurst Park, the game was goalless going into the second half, Odsonne Édouard opened the scoring eleven minutes after the break. Hwang Hee-Chan pulled Wolves level nine minutes later, Ebereche Eze put the Eagles back in front and a second from Édouard put Palace 3-1 up, Matheus Cunha made it 3-2 deep into stoppage time.

      Liverpool won 3-0 against Aston Villa at Anfield with goals from Mo Salah and Dominik Szoboszlai, Matty Cash put the ball in the back of his own net for Villa.

      Arsenal got the better of Manchester United coming out 3-1 winners thanks to a Declan Rice 96th minute winner. Marcus Rashford put United in front in the 27th minute but the Gunners hit back instantly a minute after thanks to Martin Ødegaard. Arsenals winner came thanks to a Declan rice deflected goal with beat the United keeper at his near post. Arsenal weren’t done yet though and added a 3rd in the 11th minutes of stoppage time. United felt they had a goal wrongly disallowed for offside when Garnacho though he had put United 2-1 up with two minutes to go but VAR ruled him offside.

      The Premier League is back this week and kicking off the action on Saturday lunch time is Wolverhampton v Liverpool, wolves have lost 12 of the last 13 meetings against Liverpool the lost win coming in February at Molenuex. Liverpool will be without Trent Alexander Arnold who isn injured and Virgil Dijk who’s suspended.

      Fulham take on Luton, Alex Ibwoi could make his Fulham Debut, but captain Tom Cairney and Sasa Lurkic are nursing knee problems. The last time these two met Fulham won 7-0 in the Championship back in May 2022.

      Manchester United play Brighton, Anthony will not be available do to taking an absence of leave following allegations of assault. Jason Sancho is training away form the squad due to internal disciplinary reasons, Mason Mount and Raphael Varane are both out.

      Manchester United have lost their last 3 meeting v Brentford.

      Tottenham face Sheffield United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, spurs haven’t lost against Sheffield United in the last five at home. The Blades have only one 5 of the last 43 away to spurs the last back in November 1991.

      West Ham Play Manchester City the hammers haven’t beating city in the last 15 attempts the last win was a 2-1 win away back in September 2015, the last home win was a 2-1 victory while playing at Upton Park back in October 2014.

      The Saturday tea time game sees Newcastle face Brentford, Brentford haven’t won against Newcastle in the last eight meetings the last time was in January 1948. Brentford’s only victory away to Newcastle was in 1934 when they won 5-2.

      On Sunday Bournemouth play Chelsea, Bournemouth have lost 4 of the last six at home v Chelsea their only win was a 4-0 win in January 2019.

      Everton play Arsenal, Everton are without a win this season but Arsenals only win at Goodison in their last seven was a 5-2 win back in October 2017.

      On Monday Nottingham Forest take on Burnley. The last top flight meeting between the two was back in 1970-7, which were won by both home teams. Forests only win In the last 10 against Burnley was a 2-0 back in 2012.

      Liverpool won 3-1 away against Wolverhampton in the Saturday lunch time game, Hewang Hee-Chan put the home side ahead after 7 minutes. Liverpool equalised just after halftime Cody Gakpo getting the goal in the 55th minute. Andy Robertson put the away side 2-1 up in the 85 minutes and a Bueno own goal in the 91st minutes gave Liverpool a 3-1 win.

      Crystal Palace looked to be taking all three points back to South East London thanks to a Odsonne Edouard goal in the 47th minute, but 2 stoppage time goals after an 87th minute equaliser from Jhon Duran. Douglas Luiz scored an 98th minute penalty to make it 2-1 then Leon Bailey made it 3-1 in the eleventh minute of stoppage time.

      Luton remain without a win this season after losing away to Fulham at Craven Cottage Carlos Vinísius getting the goal in the 65th minute.

      Brighton won for the second consecutive season at Old Trafford winning 3-1 putting pressure on Manchester United manager Eric Ten Hag. The Seagulls opened the scoring thanks to United old boy Danny Welbeck, Pascal Groß and João Pedro also on the score sheet. Hannibal Mejbri got his first United goal but it wasn’t enough as United lost at home for the first time in 13 months.

      More late drama at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium we’re 2 stoppage time goals have Tottenham all 3 points against Sheffield United. Gustavo Hamer had put the Blades 1-0 up in the second half in the 73rd minute, but Richarlison scored a 98th minute equaliser then in the 100th minute Dejan Kulusevski scored the winner for spurs. Sheffield United had Ollie McBurnie sent off for a second yellow card in the 104th minute.

      Manchester City continued their 100% start to the season wining 3-1 against West Ham United at the London Stadium. James Ward-Prowse had giving the Hammers the lead in the first half, but a Jeremy Doku goal just after the break brought Man City level. Bernardo Silva but City in the lead in the 76th minute before Haaland made it 3-1 in the 86 minute.

      Newcastle beat Brentford 1-0 at St James Park thanks to a Callum Wilson penalty in the second half.

      On Sunday Bournemouth and Chelsea played out 0-0 draw at which left Chelsea sitting in 14th and also means Bournemouth are without a win so far this season.

      Arsenal went to Goodison Park having lost four of the last five visits but would come away with all three points thanks to a Leandro Trossard goal in the 69th minute to but more pressure on struggling Everton. Everton are also without a win this season.

      On Monday night Nottingham Forest entertained Burnley at the City Ground where both teams and to settle for a share of the points. The Clarets took the lead in the first half through Zeki Amdouni, but Callum Hudson-Odoi scored on his debut to rescue a point for Forest. The draw gave Burnley their first point of the season to leave them in 19th place.

      The Champions League kicks off this week and the four english clubs taking part are Newcastle United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United.

      Newcastle travel to Italy to face AC Milan at the Giuseppe Meazza. Newcastle are in the Champions League for the forms time in over 20 years but have a thought group and face AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint Germain.

      Manchester City play Red Star Belgrade and will be looking to defend their crown which they won for the first time last year when they beat Inter Milan in the final in Istanbul. The other teams in Man City’s group are Young Boys (no jokes please) and RB Leipzig

      On Wednesday day Manchester United face a a hard trip to Bayern Munich, and will also play Turkish side Galatasaray and FC Copenhagen. Arsenal host PSV Eindhoven on the opening night and will also play Last seasons Europa League winners Sevilla and french club Lens.

      In group F Newcastle playing their first Champions League game in 20 years got a creditable draw away to AC Milan. The game was dominated my AC Milan who had 25 shots and 9 on target compared to Newcastle who had 6 and only 1 on target. I the other group F game Paris Saint Germain beat Borussia Dortmund 2-0 at the Parc De Princes.

      In group G Manchester City win 3-1 against Red Star Belgrade, City had to come from behind to beat the Serbian side after going in 1-0 at the break, two goals from Julian Álverez and one from Rodri gave city a winning start in defending their Champions League Crown. Else where in group G RB Leipzig won 3-1 away to Young Boys.


      Wednesday was the turn of group A and B, group a say Bayern Munich beat Manchester United in a 7 goal thriller, Leroy Sané, Serge Gnabry, Harry Kane and Mathys Tel with the goals for Bayern , Rasmus Højlund, and two from Casemiro for United. I the other group A game Galatasaray drew 2-2 FC Copenhagen

      Arsenal had no problems seeing of PSV Eindhoven with an easy 4-0 win at the Emirates, their first time in the Champions League for six years. Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Jesus and Martin Ødegaard with the goals. In the other group match last seasons Europa League winners Sevilla drew 1-1 with Lens.

      Crystal Palace taken on Fulham at Selhurst Park Jordan Ayew who went off with a dead leg against Aston Villa will be assessed along with Marc Guehi who also missed the last match.

      Fulham will have defender Anthonee Robison back after injury but Tosin Adarabioyo and Sasa Lukic will remain out through injury.

      This will be the 50th meeting between the two sides Fulham lead 18 to 14 and there’s been 17 draws.

      Luton play Wolves with Ross Barkley been assed by the Hatters after missing last weeks game. Dan Potts, Jordan Clark and Gabriel Osho are still missing.

      Wolves expect Rayan Ait Nouri to be fit.

      Luton will be hoping for their first points of the season and this is the first top flight meeting between the two since 1983/4 which the home side won 4-0. Wolves are unbeaten on the last seven against Luton winning the past 3 meetings.

      Manchester City hope to maintain their 100% start to the season when they face Nottingham Forest. Bernardo Silva will be missing for city with an injury. Nottingham Forests Willy Boly it likely to be back after illness.

      Brentford play Everton with Brentford’s Rico Henry could out for the season with a serious knee injury. Everton’s summer signing Jack Harrison could make his first appearance since recovering from injury, Everton remain without Seamus Coleman, Dele, and Andre Gomez.

      Everton have never won away at Brentford in the top flight and the only ever victory in 11 way meeting was back in September 20th 1952.

      Burnley face Manchester United at Turf More hoping to get their first win, but Burnley’s Lyle Foster is serving a three game ban after been sent off in his last match. Mason Mount could be back for United as could Raphael Varane. Burnley have only won two of the last 16 premier league meetings against United with 9 loses and 5 draws. Manchester United haven’t lost in the last 7 visits to Turf More winning 5 and drawing 2.

      Sunday sees the North London derby as Arsenal take on Tottenham at the Emirates, with both teams yet to lose this season in the league. Arsenal will assess winger Gabriel Martinelli after been forced off with a hamstring injury last weekend. Thomas Partey and Jurrien Timber are also unavailable for the Gunners.

      Tottenham will be without Ivan Perisic after suffering a serious knee injury in training during the week, he could aslo miss the majority of the season.

      Arsenal will be looking to win three consecutive league games against Spurs. Tottenham have only won two out of 31 visits to Arsenal losing 18 of those and drawing 11.

      Brighton play Bournemouth with Brighton midfielder Pascal Gross a doubt after a muscle injury suffered in the midweek defeat to AEK Athens in the Europa League. Lewis Dunk, James Milner and Evan Ferguson will be assessed.

      Bournemouth are still without summer signings Tyler Adams and Alex Scott as they recover from long term injuries.

      Brighton did the double over their opponents last season winning 1-0 at home and 2-0 away. If Brighton win today it will be only the second time they have won 3 consecutive games against the Cherries since 1932 in the 3rd division south.

      Chelsea will be looking to get back to winning ways when they face Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea have Noni Madueke and Marc Cucurella back and fit, Moises Caicedo and Armando Broja are also back in contention.

      Aston Villa won 2-0 at the Bridge back in April and if they win today it will be the first time they have won consecutive games against Chelsea in 30 years, but haven’t won back to back games at Chelsea since 1933.

      West Ham United travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool. Trent Alexander-Arnold will be assessed for Liverpool. Virgil van Dijk is back after his 4 game ban but Thiago Alcantara is out.

      Jarrod Bowen could be a doubt for the Hammers, Aaron Creswell is also a doubt but Edson Alvarez returns after a European ban.

      West Hams only win in the past 54 at Anfield was a 3-0 win back in August 2015.

      The last game of the day is Sheffield United v Newcastle United. Sheffield striker Oli Mcburnie is serving a one match ban and will miss the game. George Baldock and Will Osula are also expected to be absent but John Egan is back in contention.

      The Magpies six of the last seven against the Blades, that defeat was a 1-0 loss at Bramall Lane in January 202.

      Crystal Palace and Fulham played out a goalless draw at Selhurst Park. Fulham had the better opportunities in the first half but were unable to capitalise.

      Luton Town got their first point of the season with a 1-1 draw at home against Wolves with a controversial penalty for the home team in the second half. Neto had put Wolves 1-0 up five minutes after the half time break, Carlton Morris scored a penalty for Luton on 65 minutes, which was awarded for a controversial hand ball.

      Manchester City continued their 100% start to the season winning at home 2-0 against Nottingham Forest Phill Foden opened the scoring after 7 Minutes and Haarland added a second 7 minutes later. Manchester City were reduced to 10 men 27 seconds after the restart when Rodri was sent off for violent conduct.

      Everton got their first win of the season with a well deserved 3-1 win away to Brentford. Abdoulaye Doucoure put the visitors 1-0 up after just six minutes, it would be all square at the break thanks to a Jensen goal for Brentford. Captain James Tarkowski put the the visitors back in front on 67 minutes then 4 minutes later Dominic Calvert-Lewin put the Toffees 3-1 up moving them out of the relegation zone and up to 15th.

      Bruno Fernandes game Manchester United a much needed win with a 1-0 win at Burnley.

      The North London Derby ended all square at 2-2 a Cristian Romero own goal gave Arsenal the lead on 26 minutes. Son Heung-min sent the teams in 1-1at the break with a goal in the 42nd minute. Bukayo Saka scored a 54th minutes penalty but a minutes later Spurs were level again thanks to a double by Son. The result leaves both teams unbeaten so far with Spurs in 4th and Arsenal in 5th.

      Aston Villa heaped more misery on Chelsea at the Bridge as a Olly Watkins goal in the 73 minute sent Villa home with all three points. Malo Gusto was sent off for home side in the second half with the game all square. The defeat means Chelsea have only five points from the first six games.

      Liverpool win 3-1 at home against West Ham United, Mo Salah got the first goal from the penalty spot, Jarrod Bowen made it 1-1 to send the Hammers in level at half time. Goals from Darwin Núñez and Diogo Jota seal the 3 points for Liverpool to move them up to second in the table.

      It was goals, goals, goals at Bramall Lane unfortunately for Sheffield United they all the goals were for the away side as Newcastle United Won 8-0. It was the first time in Premier League history that they were eight different goal scorers. The 8-0 was Sheffield United heaviest ever defeat and it also equaled Newcastles biggest win which was an 8-0 at St James Park against United city rivals Sheffield Wednesday back in 1999.

      Aston Villa play Brighton in the lunch time game, with Villa hoping to win five of their first seven games for third time having previously done so in the 1998/99 and 2020/21 seasons. Villa are also looking to win nine consecutive home games for the first time since September 1989 to February 1990. Aston Villa have accrued 55 points in 2023 only Manchester City have got more on 71 points.

      Brighton have won five of their first six top flight matches for the first time ever, and the last time the Seagulls six of their first seven was in the championship season 2015/16. Brighton have also scored in 22 consecutive games scoring 51 goals.

      Aston Villa have won this fixture the the four times and the Seagulls only away win in 15 was a 2-1 back in November 2020, drawing 3 and loosing 1.

      Arsenal travel to the south coast to face Bournemouth, Bournemouth have only beaten Arsenal once in 12 meetings loosing 9 and drawing 2. In those 12 meetings the Gunners have scored 29 goals against the Cherries.

      Bournemouth haven’t won in the last 10 drawing 3 and loosing 7, the longest in the division and a club record. If they fail to win it will be the first time since 1994 they haven’t won any of the first seven. Bournemouth have only scored once at home this season.

      If Arsenal win today it will be the third time they have won their opening three away games since doing so in 2004/5 and 2013/14. Arsenal can also remain unbeaten in their first seven since 2007.

      Everton play Luton, this is the first time they have met since a league cup tie back in October 2007 which the Toffees won 1-0 away at Kenilworth Road. Luton haven’t beaten Everton in the last six drawing 3 and loosing 3. Luton’s last top flight away point came at Goodison Park which was a 1-1 draw back in March 1992.

      Manchester United take on Crystal Palace for the second time in a week after a 3-0 win for the Red Devils in the League Cup on Tuesday night. The Eagles are unbeaten in their last three league visits to Old Trafford under Roy Hodgson winning the last two.

      United were unbeaten in 31 games at home but that run came to an end when they lost to Brighton 2 weeks ago. A defeat would be their worst start to a season for 34 years.

      After last weeks 8-0 away win against Sheffield United Newcastle take on Burnley, with Newcastle looking to win five consecutive games against Burnley since 1955. The Magpies haven’t lost at home to the Clarets in the previous nine. The last time Burnley won at St James Park was April 1976.

      After last week’s 8-0 home loss to Newcastle, Sheffield United travel to the London Stadium to face West Ham United. West Ham are looking for a third consecutive win over United. The last time the Blades won at the Hammers was 2-0 back in the Championship in 2005.

      Manchester City hope to keep their 100% winning start to the Premier League season when they travel to Wolves. City have won the last six meetings scoring 19 and only conceding 3. If City win it will be the first time in the Premier League they have won the first seven. Wolves are looking to end a run of four games with out a win in all competitions having draw one and lost three.

      The tea time game is Tottenham v Liverpool, Spurs have only won once in 23 meeting against Liverpool that was in 2017 4-1 at Wembley Stadium. Liverpool haven’t bloodthirsty at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium winning 3 and drawing 1.

      Liverpool have scored in 17 consecutive games against Spurs.

      Tottenham are looking to go unbeaten in their first seven for the third time after they went seven last season and 12 back in 2016/17.
      There’s only one game on Sunday and that’s Nottingham Forest v Brentford, Forest haven’t won against Brentford in the last four meetings drawing 2 and loosing 2.

      In the past 17 home games Forest have earned 31 points. In their two home games this season they have won one and drawn the other both against promoted sides.

      Brentford have lost their last two and are winless in four drawing 2 and losing 2. Brentford have only six points from six games their worst start since 2017 when they played in the Championship.

      The Monday night football sees a South West London Derby between Fulham and Chelsea at Craven Cottage. Fulham won the last time these two met in January a 2-1 at the Cottage, but that was only their second victory in 32 league meetings.

      Five points from six games is Chelsea’s worst start since 1978/9 when they went on to be relegated. Chelsea have only won two of the last 18 matches taking 12 points.

      It was six of the best at Villa Park as Aston Villa beat Brighton 6-1, Ollie Watkins with a hat trick, Villa went in at half time 3-0 thanks to a brace from Watkins and a Pervis Estupiñán own goal. Ansu Fati pulled one back for the seagulls 5 minutes after the break. Watkins got his 3rd after 65 minutes, Jacob Ramsey made it 5-1 five minutes from time and Douglas Luiz scored Villas’ 6th in the 7th minute of stoppage time.

      Kai Havertz scored his first Arsenal goal as Arsenal has a comfortable 4-0 win away to Bournemouth. Bukayo Saka opened the scoring for the Gunners and Martin Ødegaard added a second from the spot just before half time, Havertz added a third from the spot before Ben White made it 4-0 in the 90th minute.

      Luton town got their first win of the season as they won away at Everton 2-1, Tom Lockyer and Carlton Morris gave Hatters and 2-1half time lead, the away side had gone into a 2-0 lead before Dominic Calvert-Lewin pulled one back for the home side but Everton were unable to get a second giving the away side the 3 points and a first away win.

      Manchester United lost back to back Premier League home games with a defeat to Crystal
      Palace and put pressure on manager Eric Ten Hag. Joachem Anderson with the goal on the first half. The defeat means United have lost four of their seven opening games their worst start in 34 years.

      Miguel Almerón and a penalty from Alexander Isak gave
      Newcastle a 2-0 over Burnley who are still looking for their first league win of the season, Newcastle have kept five consecutive clean sheets in all competitions.


      Sheffield United travelled to West Ham hoping for a better result than against Newcastle the week before unfortunately it would be another loss. Jarod Bowen and Tomas Soucek giving the Hammers a 2-0 win, defeat means Sheffield United have yet to win this season.

      Manchester Cities 100% start to the season came to an end with a defeat against wolves at Molineux, a Rúben Dias own goal gave wolves the lead before a second half equaliser from Julian Álvarez gave City hope. Hwang Hee-Chan put the home side back in the lead and give the home side a 2-1 win.

      VAR was at the centre of controversy at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Tottenham win 2-1 against Liverpool thanks to a Joel Matip own goal in the 96 minute. Curtis Jones was sent off in the 26th minute. Heung-min Son put the home side 1-0 10 minutes later, Cody Gakpo scored in first half stoppage time to send the away team in level. Diogo Jota was shown a red card in the second half for two bookings to leave Liverpool down to 9 men. Liverpool had though they had taken the lead when Luis Diaz put the ball in the back but was given offside by the match official, the decision went to VAR which showed him to be onside but the VAR officials said check complete and stuck with the original decision.

      Nottingham Forest and Brentford shared the points at the City Ground Christian Nørgaard had put the visitors ahead after Moussa Niakhate was sent off for a second yellow card in the second half. Forest fought back and Nicolas Domínguez equalised in the 65 minute. The draw means the away side have gone 5 games without a win since beating Fulham 3-0.

      Chelsea got only their second win of the season with a 2-0 win at Fulham, Mykhailo Mudryk got his first goal for the club after 18 minutes and Armsndo Broja made it 2-0 a minute later. The win moves Chelsea up to 11th.

      In Group A Manchester United lost 3-2 to Galatasaray at Old Trafford, Rasmus Højlund opened the scoring for united after 17 minutes but ex Manchester United player Wilfred Zaha levelled six minutes later.       In Group F Newcastle United won 4-1 against Paris St-Germain, Miguel Almirón and Dan Burn put the Magpies 2-0 up, at half time. Sean Longstaff added a third, five minutes after the restart. Lucas Hernández pulled one back for the French side Fabian Schär made it 4-1 to the Magpies in the 91st minute. Newcastle are now top of Group F with four points.

      Elsewhere in Group F Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan Drew 0-0.

      In Group G Manchester City win 3-1 away to RB Leipzig, Phill Foden opened the scoring after 25 minutes for city before Lois Ipenda equalised after 48 minutes. Julian Álvarez put the away side 2-1 up,in the 84th minute before Jeremy Doku sealed the win in the 92nd minute.

      In the other Group G match Red Star Belgrade Drew 2-2 with Young Boys.

      Luton take on Tottenham in the Saturday Lunch time game. This is the first meeting between the two sides since 1992.
