OMG you shaved your pubic hair with your dad’s razor for his face loljoannainthemiddle wrote:

Is it weird to ask your parents for shaving equipment?

My dad got me disposable razors, didn't even need to ask

I think for guys its easier to spot when they need to start shaving.

Were there any extra cuts or anything? Watch for ingrown hairs down there especially.

I asked my parents for shaving stuff when I was 13 and it was fine, but probably depends on your parents. Good that it worked out!

My parents bought me shaving stuff but I’ve also bought my own at the beginning. I don’t see why asking parents for shaving equipment would be embarrassing. At least for a guy shipping is not a sexual thing.

I really only shave my facial hair. When I first started, I used my dad's razor, but as I got older they did get me my own. I didn't even have to ask for it. I don't see why asking for it should be awkward or embarrassing to ask for it when you're old enough to shave (at least face for guys or arms/legs for girls, and you don't get too descriptive if you want to shave something other than in those areas).

No, I don’t think so. I used my dad’s old shaver until he bought me my own. My dad’s the one I’ve talked to about shaving, so nothing awkward about it.

I had to ask for some stuff when I started to shave. When I wanted to upgrade and get one that shaved balls I bought my own.
