Its not weird. You do you. There's dozens of variations. I personally know girls who do lick their fingers and girls who spit. So you've noticed that cum is slippery too. Sometimes, at the end, I rub what has ended up on my penis or hand over the outside of my penis as some last few strokes.

For guys that use lube, it's a pity you have to wait until the end for the cum to appear.

If you look carefully, sometimes you can still see the general shape of the head anyway. Certainly I can with mine. Then, of course, you get to see the head properly when you pull the skin back. For someone else doing that to an uncircumcised guy it can be a bit like unwrapping a present.
