Is not wearing a bra is a bad thing?

Morning everyone! and Merry Christmas, I hope you're all doing well. I wanted to bring up a topic that's been on my mind lately and hear your thoughts. So, my buds started growing about 11 months ago, yeah at 13 I just got buds, I get that, late bloomer thing, anyway, now I'm 14 and it looks like my boobs are getting bigger. The thing is, I live with my dad and three brothers, and none of them know anything about bras and not once did they even mention about it

Reason I asking this is that I got called out by my grandma during our Christmas gathering. She noticed I wasn't wearing a bra when she hugged me, and it got a bit awkward. I'm wondering, is not wearing a bra a bad thing? I mean all my friends wear one but doesn't mean I have to, right?

It’s not bad but eventually it might be best to wear one. Maybe speak with a female family member to go with you to get some bras,

No, you don't have to wear a bra.
But I would recommend it to you if you continue wrestling with your brothers or with your father.

No it's not bad. But probably occasions its adviceable, like when doing sports and other activities they can help to stop the bouncing around and rubbing you nipples (which isn't enjoyable

) and maybe times when wearing a thin top its good for your own modesty.

But in the most part it's your own preference and what you feel comfortable with :thumbsup:

My dad stopped playing with me after the incident. My brothers and me still playing but less often now since I got boobs, do I need a bra just for that?

I don't mind the bouncing, it feels funny, the nipples, however, are kinda torture sometimes, they feel so sensitive when you run a lot. Tbh I first thought bras were for modesty because most older people around me looked at me weirdly like I was naked or something, even Grandma looked at me weirdly.

I don't know how to measure but they are bigger like half the size of my palm, and they look pointy and not rounded like all my friends, is that normal?

I hate wearing them, I avoid them
Mine are really small but my opinion won’t change I think

I dont think it is a bad thing if every once in a while a girl doesnt wear a bra, I think that it might be better when playing sports for a girl to wear one , as the bouncing up in down of the boobs might cause some chest soreness if not wearing one.

Idk why but I don't feel the need to wear one it's just In my area, seeing all the girls who have boobs do wear one. Plus with Grandma's comment, I'm tempting.

i used the bounciness, no soreness at all. I only stop when my nips getting really sensitive, i usually avoid running because of that.

No, your right. It does feel sore if i keep doing it for a while. I think bras do keep them in place, that's kinda tempting to get one tbh, hmm

I don’t wear a bra regularly mostly because I don’t need to so far. Sports bras are nice though and help with sensitivity and soreness. If you’re actually wrestling with your brothers and playing football with them idk it may help.
