I didn't buy a 360, i found one in the trash. and took it to my local play and Trade, fixed it up, bought a 20G hard drive, controller, and AV cords, works like a dream: all about 125 cha chingas. I don't haz that much money so i couldn't buy a HDTV like everyone else does.

finding a 360 in the trash just proofs how much 360's are liked i guess

All i can think of, before you say lue ray all it means is they use a slighly higher frequency Beem to ready the disk giving it a slightly quicker response, but this dosn't matter as n games this is slowed down anyways to give it a human like appoach and DVD can only run as fast as they are filmed. The memory is pretty much the same and to be honest they;re the same consolse with different cases round the outside. I think the thign that sways me is, lack of blue ray so normal DVD's work not meaning if you want a DVD you ahve to spend more and can only use it on this console. Price, The 360 is almost £200 cheaper, plus games are usually £5-10 as the coloured packaging and shape is more pricey. Online, althought its free n the PS3 you lag alot and graphics get screwedup.. that pissed me off when i was playing FIFA. err and there is more but ive judt ranted at your guys for long enough with bad enough spelling so im off =)

As far as I can see the only major advantage the PS3 has over the 360 is that you have to pay to play online with the 360, where as the PS3 you don't.

But I suppose the PS3's retail price makes up for that.

Surely there's a catch behind the free online experiance for the Playstation network. I think it's crap compared to XBL then again I can only back up that if i was to try the PSN which I haven't yet but according to a friend who has both consoles they say the PSN is slow, not many players and more crap. But then again everyone has their own tastes.

It might be true that there are less players and that it's slow, but that also depends on your own connection. Btw why do you keep saying that there's a catch? There is no catch =/

I prefer the XBox 360. The PS3 has nice graphics though.
