Is the best movie ever. I don't think anybody has the right to be sad until they have seen the movie (and read the book for that matter - simultaneously). I hope somebody else has seen this film and would like to humour me and talk about it.
It's funny actually, I haven't seen this particular film (or read the book) since at least June but while playing Halo 3 tonight the words "I ain't never" (spoken by our Ruth Jamison) kept coming back to me.
And it's breaks my heart.
For all of you that don't know, Fried Green Tomatoes (at the Whistle Stop Cafe) is a book by the American author Fannie Flagg, which she then manipulated into a screenplay. The movie was officially released during 1991.
If you have a chance to, WATCH IT.
