I am going to get my prom and homecomming dress a year early, basically I want to wait until all proms this year and then go shopping for my dresses when all the sales are up and I can get the dresses really cheap. Anyone know about when prom dresses will be marked down really cheap?

Wow. Thanks, that's the price range I'm shooting for!

Honestly, I don't think that will be the best idea simply because of the fact that it will be hard for you to find one you like in your size after the majority have been sold.
However, if there's a JCPenny near you, this weekend they were having a sale, which ends tomorrow, and all of their dresses are 50% off so if you really want to and you can, I would advise going there tomorrow.
Edit-It also applies on their website. -

You'd probably have to buy it out of season. So months before your prom, dance, whatever, buy it for the next prom/dance hoping you'll still be the same size.
I deffinatly spent way too much on my prom dress this year. $250 for a dress that I'll wear one night, but its cute and I thought it was well worth it. But, who knows.♥ bailey ♥

Yeah, Luckily I'm not too picky with what I look like and I know my mom or grandma could alter it if I end up getting something too big or too long. And I think the second hand stores is a good idea, I'll try that!
