not the best, but I can find my way around the kitchen and I make the best cookies apparently. I make dinner sometimes too, when I feel like doing it. I like experimenting.

Yeah i can cook, my speciality is pasta based foods, and no sauces from a jar or curry powders or anything like that, always tastes better when you make it from scratch. Always make dinner with my bf so it doesn't take as long to prepare it.

I do that too, Katie! But if I'm cooking for other people I do pretty well I'd say. My mom and grandma have taught me much and I've gotten better at retaining it. At least this month. This month I'd say I've been a good cook!
I'm fairly decent. I've made baked macaroni and cheese (From scratch, except the noodles) and it got good reviews from my family. I'm not exactly a gourmet though.
I hate cooking every day normal food, like mac n cheese etc.
But I love to cook. This week in Hospitality we're making food stacks. Me and my partner's is going to be bacon and mushroom risotto base, with mixed spinach and leek on that, then mixed tomato and yellow capsicum/peppers on that, and Porterhouse steak on the top, served with a hollandaise sauce and jus.
I can't wait!
My specialty dishes are:
1) Venison (or eye fillet) steak, served on a bed of wilted greens and baby new potatoes, with a red wine, chocolate and chilli sauce.
2) Chicken breast stuffed with either: Feta, spinach and mushroom; or with basil, sage and rosemary pesto; or with brie and cranberry sauce. These are all wrapped in bacon and usually served with roast veges.
3) Pork escalopes, served with a Calvados sauce and rice.

As soon as you learn what flavours go with what, and how strong a certain flavour is, then you can do anything.
