Animal Farm (Novel)

read it way back when. like 5 years ago now? I enjoyed. Orwell has written better books that's for sure, but animal farms fun. haha, one of my mates younger sister thought that it was just about talking animals, she completely missed the political message
did you enjoy it? -

it was a def good book, but if you didnt read the preface you would be lost with
all the allegory and symbolism."Something to relieve the pressures of their everyday life, like having to tie their shoes. " -

There are easily a thousand things that one could write an essay about about that book. I was moreso wondering what his thesis was going to be, it was pretty obvious it'd be about the book, but about WHAT about the book? -
i have 2 questions to choose from;
1. "satire attempts to correct the vices and follies of human beings, as well as challenging our beliefs about culture and society."
discuss this statement in relation to the text Animal Farm
2. To what extent can Animal Farm be read as a satire? -
second one is the i'd choose"Something to relieve the pressures of their everyday life, like having to tie their shoes. "
-
I read that book a few months back. Errr didnt really like it..=-/
-
I think I'd choose number 1, sounds more fun and like you could elaborate a lot more.
What choice are you leaning towards? -
Im not sure, deffiently more to work with the first question. Question 2 is quite simpler.
-
Yep I read it a couple of years ago. I like George Orwell. :][CENTER]
