I drink a lot of coffee, any where from four to six cups a day. I have started to notice that if I am bored and I start to think about coffee I get shaky and anxious until I have a cup. Is this normal?
Coffee!!!

Supposedly it keeps you awake.
I have no idea, try Wikipedia'ing it.
I never had coffee before.Nice guys talk because they have something to say; pick-up artists talk because they have to say something. -
No cut down on the coffee man all that caffeine isn't good for you.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I have always heard that coffee was like the best thing you can drink. Like it prevents Parkinson, and liver sclerosis, and all kinds of other things.
-
You can get a caffeine overdose ya know from drinking too much coffee. You've become addicted to caffeine you should cut down.I am the Lady High Owner of the Universe.....AKA Lady flimslewipplekinklebottom the XII

It's caffeine withdrawal symptoms. Caffeine is present in coffee (AND Coke/Pepsi) and if you drink too much coffee, you can get headaches, insomnia and, the shakes.
I suggest you cut down on your coffee by about 10% each week by replacing a mug with decaff.
If symptoms persist, go and get checked out at your doctor's.
Sometimes the best memories people make, are new ones.

yes your addicted[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Sounds like you need to cut down. I used to drink loads of coffee too and I started getting chest pains so I started drinking decaff more often instead or other drinks. I think there are lots of different studies saying different things about coffee, but even if it does help prevent those diseases, 6 cups a day is way too much.

I drink coffee too (2 to 4 cups a day) , but it seems like you need to cut down. All that caffeine can't be good for you. You're mistaken, Mr. Darcy. God my boyfriend drinks shit loads of coffee from morning until night - I don't know how you guys do it!
Also I doubt you're addicted to coffee although it is aparently possible! -
I love coffee. I drink about 1-2 cups a day.
Coffee has a lot of caffiene, which is an addicting drug, so yeah it's addicting. You can develop a dependency on it. -
I also drink lot of coffee ~3-6 cups a day and i feel fine.
-
I drink a lot of coffee, too. But it doesn't give me energy, just helps me to be calm.
-
Coffee high in caffine does give you extra mental focus and it can bind with fat cells to help you lose weight.
I always have a couple of cups before a workout. Since I'm cutting, I've lost 6lb of bodyfat and gained muscle in 2 weeks.
I often find addiction to things, like smoking, sugar, or coffee is 90% in your head and 10% physical addiction. At least for me anyway, after a couple of days most addicting substances have left your body and you should no longer get withdrawal.. it takes more will power to cut down or stop completely than anything else.Taken: Shibuya, Toto-Super Space.

If you feel shakey when you dont have coffee, I think it might be addiction
-
It's the caffeine that gives you the side effects of drinking too much coffee, or if it's too strong. You should try to either reduce it, come off it altogther or get yourself onto decaf, which tastes the same if not a little stronger. For the first few days, you might get a headache and feel a little groggy, as you're coming off a drug, but it will pass and then it will be fine.
I know someone who had an overdose of caffeine and they were in hospital for a week, with a racing pulse initially and they couldn't stand. It can be more dangerous than people think

It seems that you have an addiction... coffee is very good for you in moderation, but it seems you have surpassed that.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Heard wrong lol, coffee is like the anti-christ to anyone trying to build muscle diet or generally stay healthy, although around 1 cup a day can increase brain function in some people, stick with water for the best thing to drink.
anyway back on topic yeah id cut down on the coffee, you could try going de cafe or something and slowly wittle yourself down to 1-2 cups a day[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Many pro bodybuilders use coffee/caffine before their workouts and in the morning.Taken: Shibuya, Toto-Super Space.
