I have a few books you may enjoy, some are pretty long though.

First off, Lovely Bones - IDK Author

A young girl is raped and murdered and while in heaven she watches her family.

      Second, The Twilight Saga

Pretty good books, some say it's meant for girls, but as a guy I enjoyed it a lot.

      IT - Stephen King

If your looking for a scary read, this will work. It's kinda long but a good read.

I've read the Lovely Bones (by Alice Sebold, btw) and Twilight.

It will probably scare me. o.o But I'll try it if it's ever in.

I really don't like reading at all, my attention span is really tiny, but I read this book in like a week, it was an amazing read.

      read some of the classics.
      Wuthering Heights
      Night
it'd be easier if we knew what kind of books you like and dont like
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Yeah, my brother has all the Lord of the Rings. I'll probably read them eventually.
and I could try 1984. I'm like, 99% sure the library has it.

I've read Night and I didn't really like it.
      And I'll try Wuthering Heights.

Umm, I really do like a lot. I mean, I read a lot of the really girly, gossip girl type books (guilty pleasure). But I like a lot of different books.

-I prefer a male narrator (whiny girls drive me crazy)
      -I usually don't like sci-fi or romance. And I mean cheesy-gushy, over the top-romance.
-Names I can't pronounce bother me. Or sometimes just really weird names.
-If it's too boring in the beginning, I stop reading it. Especially in the summer, when I can just grab another book from around the house.
-If the formatting is weird, I won't read it. (Think Ellen Hopkins)
-I stay away from anything too cliche, because I don't want to read the same thing a million times.
-Random time-jumps, or setting change or whatever without any explanation that just confuse the fuck out of you = no. (I think it was called After Time or something, I don't know. It was slow and boring, AND made no sense).

And, that's about it, I think.
      I'll try mostly anything though.

Maybe try graphic novels? Watchmen is fantastic, as is the marvel civil war, the ultimate xmen series and the dark knight returns batman ones....

Not really my thing, but I suppose I could try it.
