When I went on a residential with school, on the first night, I said 'Hey, let's sit down and make rules as to what we are and what we aren't gonna accept from each other' as we were sharing rooms in 6s and 8s.

So, we sit down, and I say 'Who wants to go first?'. No-one speaks, so I'm like 'Right, my one and only thing I don't wanna hear from anyone is a four lettered word beginning with R which is constantly used out of context and proportion'. They all totally got me, but then like three seconds later, they were all talking about it, and all the stories that they'd heard about it, just because I'd mentioned it. I got really angry and annoyed, and just went and sat outside in the corridor with one of the teachers that went, the only guy on the trip as I go to an all girls school. He could tell something was up, so we kinda talked over the fact that I didn't want to be involved in a conversation with 7 girls on something that I'd just pointed out I didn't want to talk about, so he offered me his room and shit, and said he'd sleep in his car, and I was like 'Nah, I'll be fine'. The same thing happened the second night, and then he realised what it was that I didn't want to talk about/be involved in a conversation about [he didn't know before, he was just listening to me babble and let me say what I wanted to say] so he offered me his room again as he was going home early, but I said no again.

The whole trip, though, and even after that, and hey, even now, like 8 months later, people who I'd said to that I didn't like that topic still joke about it infront of me. Shit like 'A ghost's gonna rape ya if ya go in there', or 'Fuck with me and I'll get my brother to rape you'. I hate it. So badly.

I agree with you. I hate when people yell rape jokingly.
A girl at the mall was yelling rape one time down a hallway with no one in it but then I find out she is just messing around and laughing with some guy about it after that..

Looks like I'm the only guy to agree with you. It always makes me mad, ever since I saw what even joking about it can do to someone. It's messed up that so many people joke about it.

Its like saying rape is a huge joke, like if someone was going to come up to you and say they got raped that you would just laugh in their face.

Truly there are more pressing issues such as dealing with people that rape properly.

It means that people who rape should be executed and not a quited.

Yeah, I don't tend to find rape jokes very funny. I've experienced sexual abuse before and..I didn't laugh.
