i have mild insomnia its nearly 12 am and i cant sleep and i have to get up at 5 what do i do!
*Urgent* Cant sleep and there is school in 5 hours help!

Stop using the computer the bright screen can keep you up for a while after using it. Stop looking at the clock[face it the other way if possible] or the anxiety will keep you up.[CENTER][SIGPIC][/SIGPIC][/CENTER]

Do something -- anything. Sometimes, laying
down in bed with your eyes close don't help.
You're mind is very creative at night, so it's better
to read a book or something to let you energy
out.

Worse thing to do is being on the pc!
Try this, it's a form of mediation that relaxes you, if you don't fall alsleep after then atleast you'll be refreshed.
lay on your back and be aware of your breathing, but don't control it. have your eyes closed and your palms facing up.
after awhile start taking deep and slower breaths.
tense your toes then relax, tense and relax. do this for 10
then your calfs
then your thighs
then your stomach
then your chest
then your neck
then your head/ face
then upper arms
then lower arms
then fingers
you should be all nice and relaxed now, if anything is still stiff/ tense repeat that area.
think about some where nice and safe. real or made up doesn't matter.
now imagine you're there. just sitting and breathing. what can you hear? what can you smell? what do you feel? now stay there until you feel its time to go. when it's time to go slowly fade the image away -
