I could never justify having over 1k songs in my library to be honest, I just don't listen to that much music. I mean, I listen to music a lot, but it rarely gets old to me.

It's a fair amount, I'd say the average avid music listener has that much give or take a few thousand. Not a lot though.

Why don't you just choose what you want to listen to?

That's the reason I've never used shuffle, I pick the albums I listen to depending on my mood rather then have shuffle go through songs untill I get one I want, sometimes I'll want to listen to something, other times not.

I don't see how that's a plus side, but okay.
