      basically, i had sex with my best friend a few nights ago. now we are too embarrassed to even look/smile/talk to eachother and it's ruined everything and i don't know what to do or say to him to make it ok!!
      i don't like him like that at all, but i just got caught up in the moment.
      but apparently he really likes me.. and i didn't even realise because we were such good friends.. i never really thought about it

      any advice is appreciated!!

      You just need to talk it over with him, tell him how you feel and say exactly what you said: "we just got caught up in the moment"

      Tell him you still want to be friends and then just start hanging out together like normal and eventally the awkwardness will go away but you have to talk it over with him first

      man trust me on this ive been in this situation before and it aint pretty
      be prepared to cling desperatly onto the idea that friendship can be reformed to what it was before for awhile.
      eventually youll let go and realize you guys aint gonna be the same
