I feel like that too. I'm turning 18 in December and everyone want's to have a party but I'm kind of bleh about it. It's weird, I'm already 18 years old? I feel old, like I haven't accomplished anything in life, and then I get a bit depressed.
I think I'll just run away for that one day.and then -
My birthdays in November and i totally understand where your coming from, like ive had to grow up earlier and i already feel like an adult im the most responsible one in my group and everyone treats me like one i dont want to do anything but i guess i'll have to,
i wish i could run away that day. -
I turned 18 2 months ago. It was just like a normal party. Nothing special. I think I was ok with that.

id really love to had a party, i thought about it but as a result NOTHING cuz i didnt have enough money plus my parents dont want to organise a party :( anyway...

thank you too
Wish I could do something with some friends, but I dont' really have any in my new home (in a different country :P) But I have a huge family and I guess I can just use my birthday as an excuse to bring everyone together for food, and I'll be old enough to drink in front of them all so I'll get plastered as well xDand then -

Make the most of your 18th and 21st. If you feel like that now, imagine what you will feel like with your 19th, 20th or even 24th...Birthdays get less special the older you get

yeah last year[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

i did nothing for my 18th, never been one for hosting parties, i kinda just let my birthdays slip by every year. i go to everyone elses parties but never do anything for mine, its just a recipe for disaster in my books, especialy big parties, i laugh when i go to a huge party that is going to be awesome and blah blah blah and then there is thousands of pounds worth of damage done to the house its at.....
thats what happens when you invite 100 drunken 18 year olds to your 3 bed semi ya suckers -
--thanks i will try and make the most of it.
--lol yea thats what i do aswell let it slip by i usually just saw friends at school and stuff but my friend is 2 days after me so we went to a theme park with a couple of friends last year, which was ohkay i got a bit sick though so that made it a crap day but i would also say go with a even amount of people coz if you dont the others dont really want to go by themselves for one ride they say they will but they actually dont. -
well, my friends older sisters birthday is exactly the same day as mine, and i play rugby with her fiance so i usualy just geg in with their party and steal some of the glory.
-
lol thats awesome and its the best way as it means no clean up aswell
