To the OP:
Don't do it. I get that you're curious, but don't do it. Chances are you'll regret it.

Exploration and experimentation is fine if you're comfortable, curious, and most importantly with someone you trust. You seem hesitant and a bit apprehensive, leading me to think you may not feel comfortable enough to go through with this and therefore shouldn't.

My friend, who is a girl, is curious about oral sex. I've had experience and may be helping her explore a bit into how to give oral sex to make her more less nervous about the idea when she does enter a relationship with a girl. There's nothing wrong with that really and it can be quite helpful.
I do not plan to go down on her at all because I would like her to feel what receiving oral is like from someone she really wants and is in a meaningful relationship with - she will get the mental/emotional aspect of it and it will be much more pleasurable.
