Significant other.?
How do you guys feel about that word?
I personally dislike this term, alot.
I mean, Iknow it may sound really immature for disliking such a simple term, but whatever, I do.
It just strikes me as ignorance. I mean, we are the same as straight couples. We don't call people in interracial marriages/relationships anything different than we do two people of the same race getting married.
So why do some people use this term for gays?
I wouldn't want someone to call my HUSBAND my significant other. Because he would be my HUSBAND.
Do you get what I'm saying?
