... college and university in America?

I've heard that in order to study in a university, you need to have studied in a college previously?
something like that: high-school > college 1 yr > university 4-5yrs

In a university there is several different subjects. Like the school of law or the school of psycology. Colleges only have one thing. At least thats what I think

nothing really. University is usually four years of school. College can be a university or just a community college.

College is a pretty broad term in America. It can mean community college, which usually lasts only two years, vocational/trade school, which only has one subject, or university, which usually goes for four years.

And what you heard about having to go to college before you go to university only applies if you didn't take your SAT testing in highschool (and the term college in that situation means two year community college).

You're thinking of vocational/trade school. Community colleges can have just as many subjects as a university.
