Ugh, I need one too.
I've started 2 novels, 1 series and I can't ebb my distractions from it.R.I.P Captain Jack Sparrow, 13/3/09

It's natural, everyone gets bored of things, if you think that writing it would be a good thing to do (i.e. someone's going to read it/it's going to get published) then you just have to force yourself to persevere.

happens to me all the time -.-'
usually it happens when i have a lot of free time. it helps me to set aside a specific time and amount of time to work on it. once i get into it i usually go past the designated time anway"I don't do damsel well. Distress, I can do.

I'm exactly the same way. I've started several projects, but have a hard time finishing them. But, there is a way to break the cycle. Writing is a lot fun, but requires a certain amount of discipline if you want to finish a long piece.
Do you have a routine? If you only write when the mood strikes you, I suggest setting apart a time where you focus on nothing but writing. I thought this would be difficult, since I couldn't see myself forcing the creative flow -- but it helps. Even if you can't get anything out, just write. That's the point. You can always edit later. Eventually, I saw myself producing more and more after each session. I had to learn this, as I'm very hard on my own work. Good luck! -
know what your story is about and give it a fitting ending or any ending. when you go back to read it cold you will know where to go with it."Something to relieve the pressures of their everyday life, like having to tie their shoes. "

Oh! Another tip: write an outline. It'll keep your pace, and if you don't know what to write next, take a look at your notes. This helps a lot if you have a confusing or "busy" plot.

Write a story about a topic which you know lots about. When I do, I find that when I know what I am doing, I get it finished early, and it makes sense.
