Vertical lines make you look taller.

Lateral lines make you look broader.


Light colours make you look bigger in general e.g white.... ( They reflect light more)


Dark colours make you look smaller in general e.g black.... (they absorb light, hence the slimming effect of a black dress)


Baggy clothes will make you look smaller.

Really tight clothes will make you look like a lady of the night/poser/bender.


Oh and a good pair of heels fixes all, obviously makes you taller, AND it makes your legs look longer and thinner.

heels, they don't have to be big to make a difference and they'll improve your posture which will make you appear taller also vertical stripes, and if it's a 'smart' look you're going for then i'd stick to black and tailored with a little colour don't know if you shop in topshop but alot of them have style advisors instore, you could go in and ask and try putting volume in to your hair for more height.. i don't think you need makeup to look older but it might help. xx
