You should really consider changing the color of your font. It's almost impossible to read lol. But anyway... A while back I would have dreams about my former best friend. We lost touch and I do miss him a lot but I'm afraid to text him because he's probably got a new life now anyway. And plus he's all grown up. I'm not used to that lol. But yeah, I guess it's my minds way of coping with a loss.

Most dreams contain messages that serve to teach you something about yourself. However, soon after you wake up to go about your daily routine, you tend to quickly forget what you dream about. The message in recurring dreams may be so important and/or powerful that it refuses to go away. The frequent repetition of such dreams forces you to pay attention and confront the dream. It is desperately trying to tell you something. Such dreams are often nightmarish or frightening in their content, which also helps you to take notice and pay attention to them.
Recurring dreams are quite common and are often triggered by a certain life situation or a problem that keeps coming back again and again. These dreams may recur daily, once a week, or once a month. Whatever the frequency, there is little variation in the dream content itself. Such dreams may be highlighting a personal weakness, fear, or your inability to cope with something in your life - past or present.
The repetitive patterns in your dream reveal some of the most valuable information about yourself. It may point to a conflict, situation or matter in your waking life that remains unresolved or unsettled. Some urgent underlying message in your unconscious is demanding to be understood.

To dream about your ex-boyfriend/girlfriend or that you and your ex got back together again, suggests that something or someone in your current life that is bringing out similar feelings you felt during the relationship with your ex. The dream may be a way of alerting you to the same or similar behavior in a current relationship. What you learn from that previous relationship may need to be applied to the present one so that you do no repeat the same mistake. Alternatively, past lovers often highlight the positive experiences you had with that person. It could also signify aspects of yourself that you have x'd out or neglected.

I'm not too much into the 'seeing the future' type of thing. Basically your dreams are a compilation of things you're feeling, doing, thinking, etc. both currently, and in the past. They often contain memories, and sometimes fantasies.

I've had some pretty creepy recurring dreams; I'm glad they only lasted a couple of weeks... they were kind of gory... nightmares.

Anyway, you might be remembering your old boyfriend, things you did, old feelings, etc. As for James, it's possible that you unconsciously do have feelings for him.

Then, your brain could just be mixing things that are, with things that aren't. As for why dreams recur, I don't know. I doubt anyone does for sure.

It is however possible, that your dreams are 'showing the future'. I do believe that it is possible; however unlikely.
It has been said many times before... But it is no less true; The most important things in life are not things. The simple special moments in life, end up being the ones you remember for a life time.
