I'm into biking. I've tried mountain biking, though, and it's physically challenging for me. In the future, I'd probably try mountain biking againYou bitches are beautiful. :hugs:

I was into it for a while but I went though 5 bikes in a year. Costco bikes, every time I broke one I just took it back and got an other one lol. I'm looking into getting back into it though. If there is anything you are willing to teach me send me a PM or something =)

get a specialized! -
i've just got into mountain biking. I have a 2009 Giant trance x2... hopefully before i do this 24hr race next year i should have a 2010 specialized enduro. Just because of the much better suspension and travel... i tend to jump the bikes like my motorbike

Why not get a DH rig for the jumping? even a cheap big hit can take some pounding...

i would say get a hardtail to start with... then the skills you learn on that will be transferred a lot more quickly to a full suspension bike...
dont mean to hate on you amando96 but a dh bike is good for "downhill"... for jumping a dirt jump bike would be better, or for big jumps (at least 15 feet +) a slopestyle bike..
and learning to mountain bike is just a progression curve like any sport.. watch mountain bike films and try to copy techniques from the pro riders, but dont imitate, just do whatever comes naturally to you..
hope that helps..
