Pfft.. What is the point. It is weakness and folly to even LOVE someone yet spending money.. spending POWER on them is just.. crazy!

I sure am glad I wont be participating in any of those degrading activites..

Why do people bother with it? honestly.. Its.. demeaning.

Like most celebratory days in the modern era, Valentine's Day is a commercial holiday. Nevertheless, it still holds a special place in the love lives of many people around the world.

If you don't like it, that's fine. I would just advise you to not go ruining it for other people.

I personally don't like Valentines day, but there's no reason to ruin it for others.. & It's not because I don't have a 'date', because I could have if I chose to haha, I'd just rather not take part in it..

why would you need a commercialized holiday to tell you to treat the one you care about more special than you would any other day? If you need a day to buy her flowers to surprise her or do something special like dinner for two then obviously your relationship isn't as serious or stable as it should be.

treat them special everyday.

For this valentine's I gave my last girlfriend a drawing I had drawn on Adobe Photoshop, which took several weeks. Might I add, it was completely free. I'm pretty sure that surpassed anything which she would have dreamed, and I know it did...For valentine's day, it is not about giving gifts, it is about showing your love/care for one another.

love is true happiness. having tons of money is so boring and pointless is if its all you have.i don't really enjoy valentines day but i dont hate it its just a little to brite for me but i dont mind spending money on my girl friend or celebrating it.o and your obsession with money is unhealthy.
