I can't think of why I'd be in this situation but whatever, if I was I'd 100% tell them without a doubt. Why spend your last few years on earth doing pointless things? There will be people for example studying for exams in school and university and obviously they should be told so that they don't waste their last days. It's basically like that already though. We are all going to die eventually and loads of people spend time preparing for times in there life where they end up dead instead.
