Poem for class, documenting so I can copy and paste from here tomorrow (or in a few hours) and print it for class.
The sound of laughter fills the room with a tender warm embrace.
A common feeling around this caring couple.
They each have their own set backs with many limitations,
so visits have become more complicated.
However, the phone always manages to ring,
right at the dusk of dawn.
And the conversation begins to whisper
as a roommate begins to snore.
They talk of their day and their new aches and pains,
but after 55 years of marriage
it always ends the same...
"I love you everyday"
