So me and this girl who've been texting(check my thread about being clingy on the family and friends forum for more info) were texting last night and she told me she likes me, I told her that the feeling was mutual but we agreed that we were too far apart and we'd stay friends for another year or two then maybe try to work out something then. So this morning we were texting and i said "is it ok to put last night behind us because i think we're better off as friends at least for now." and she ignored me
OMG I fail so hard at life :(

Girls do that crap ... nothing to do let her think it out ...

So if I give her space should she come back?

Well it depends. Does she seem like the person that would come back? Or would she expect you to go to her? Do you think she wants to wait out? Or did she profess her love to you because she wants something more? And how do you feel? are you sure you wanna wait it out?. Anyway the best option is to just talk to her.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I dunno, I've only known her like a week and we've never met but we've been great friends in that time period and it doesn't seem like her to get rid of me over something trivial.
basically the reason we can't go out yet is because of my parents, they're over protective of me on the internet and don't want me talking to people I don't know in real life, plus they don't even know I have the internet in my room(I use my PS3 and connect to our WiFi. -

Hell yeah, 1337 h4x0r -
I think you should just give her a day or two and then text her again. She may just need some time to think.
A week isn't a very long time at all, especially with someone you've never met in person. Neither of you can truely know the other that well within that time so it's probably for the best to stay friends for now until you both know eachother better, and if you both still like eachother, then wait for her if thats what you want. -
How about call her?[CENTER][SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] [/CENTER]

She had just gone out and left her phone, was just an unfortunate coincidence that I had just brought up a sensitive subject when it happened.
-
Girls never leave their phone at home when they go out.

if you've only known her for a week, and that's only through internet, then why is this such a big deal? i highly doubt whatever you two have is going to last two years, especially since you only know each other through the internet. i'd move on and find someone who i know in real life. seriously, forget about her. -
