Yes, to an extent. It won't get us out of debt in any means, but it certainly will provide some extra money, and it is no more damaging than alcohol or tobacco.

Pro-choice. That's about as far as I'd like to elaborate on the subject.

Not at all. There's been female leaders in many developed countries; it's not like I think a female president would suddenly let fly with the nukes or anything.

Do you believe in the death penalty?
Not at all, and it's something I firmly despise.

Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?
Yes I do.

Are you for or against premarital sex?
I'm not against it.

Do you believe in God?
Not in the slightest.

Do you think same sex marriage should be legalized?
Nope. Marriage is a religious institution, and it's not the government's role to tell any religion what they can and can't do. Separation of church and state is a two way road. I believe same-sex couples should be able to have the same benefits as a married couple, or even be legally married under a church that believes in it, but I don't think the Catholic church or any other institution opposed to gay marriage should be forced to marry a same sex couple.

Do you think it's wrong that so many Hispanics are illegally moving to the country?
I think it's horrible that our xenophobic and excessive post-9/11 immigration system forces so many people to enter the country illegally. But do I think it's wrong that someone living in a shit-hole in Mexico wants to find a better life in the states? Of course not; that's how my family ended up here in the first place, the only difference being that they came from a lot further away. Germany to be specific.

Her family can keep it if they feel the desire to, but she shouldn't be able to be the sole parent.

Should the alcohol age be lowered to eighteen?
I don't see why not. 21 is a bit excessive.

Should the war in Iraq be called off?
As soon as possible. Ideally, we'd never be there in the first place, but that's a different argument for a different time. An organized pull out should be instituted ASAP.

Assisted suicide is illegal: do you agree?
Not at all. It's the same thing as abortion, making it illegal just drives people to go to unconventional means that are generally less safe for everyone involved. No one is suddenly going to decide that they want to kill themselves just because it's legal.

Do you believe in spanking children?
No. Corporal punishment isn't legal for prisoners, why should it be so for children?

Would you burn an American flag for a million dollars?
Of course, it's a symbolic signal but at the end of the day, it's still just a flag. I'm not one to get caught up in sentimental meanings. That said, I wouldn't burn the original flag by Betsy Ross for a million dollars; that's a piece of history that should be preserved for posterity.

Who do you think would be a better president: McCain or Obama?
Obama.

Do you think Obama will be killed?
No. Presidential security after Kennedy got ridiculously tighter. I see it this way; Obama is probably more liked than Bush.

Should child predators be forced to wear signs identifying themselves?
No. If they are a threat to the public, they shouldn't even be out of prison in the first place. If they are trying to rectify their actions and earn redemption, ostracizing them for the past won't help at all. In fact, chances are it will cause them to return to their old ways.

Are you afraid others will judge you from reading some of your answers?
Ehh. I know people will judge me, but I'm not concerned about it one bit to be honest. I'm past caring what people on the internet think of me.

They don't have to be married in a Catholic ceremony, they can be married legally in a registry office, that should be legal. What the church choose to condone and condemn is their business (although, I still believe if there's a religious gay couple who want to be married, they deserve that right too, but that's another debate altogether)

Sure, I definitely think that's fine. But a bunch of people have tried to convince me that the government should intervene and allow it in any religious place of the couples choice, which I think is completely ridiculous.
