Who cares who is on top on the charts? I don't.

  • Most likely none, way more worried about heart disease honestly.

Anna: What Frosty said. The body works very efficiently in ketosis/low carb environments. + it doesn't matter if you eat before bed, it matters WHAT you eat yes, but if it's just a regular healthy meal it will end up the same as any other food, in fact, your body is in catabolism during sleep, so food high in protein before bed is probably ideal (casein anyone?). Also, starch is a complex carb, not some transformation, it is just two or more glucose molecules put together. Not trying to call you…

  • Well, a 33/33/33 (fat/carbs/protein) ratio would be fine. Say you're going to eat 2900 calories, 9 calories make up one gram of fat, thus: .33 * 2900 = 957 / 9 (calories per fat gram) = ~106 grams of fat .33 * 2900 = 957 / 4 (calories per carb gram) = ~239 grams of carbs - protein is the same as carbs Don't think fats are evil either, in fact we can't make omega-3 and omega-6, thus we want polyunsaturates (fish, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, walnuts) for that reason. As for mono/satured, get the ma…

  • Quote from LLLCoke: “Per week? I'd estimate about 3-4 lbs.” 3-4 pounds is fine for the first week or two (water weight will probably be lost a lot here, thus why), though I'd probably down it to 1-2 pounds per week after the second week, unless you want to have major deficits (which you don't). If you're 220, your maintenance is around 3200-3400, so minus 500 from the worst case is 2900 calories a day, and it will keep lowering the more you lose. I wouldn't recommend going any more than 600 unde…

  • First of all you'd have to look at your diet. But as for a first post, 40 pounds isn't impossible, what is your desired weight loss per week?

Depends really. Milk chocolate bars contain milk, so they're for some vegetarians, not for vegans. Dark chocolate I believe is vegan, thus being vegetarian as well.

  • Yes, bodybuilding.com, read their articles on bulking (or cutting if your bodyfat is above 10-12%). But you'll never up your weight (muscle-wise) without a calorie surplus, as bodybuilding.com will (hopefully) explain. Also, this means doing different kinds of training (5x5, supersets, rippetoes, push/pull method, conjugate, etc.), and of course changing your exercise routine every 6 weeks. Don't expect to gain all of it from one method. Quote: “Why do you want to gain so much weight?” My guess:…

You Act Like You Are 26 Years Old You are a twenty-something at heart. You feel like an adult, and you're optimistic about life. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences. You're still figuring out your place in the world and how you want your life to shape up. The world is full of possibilities, and you can't wait to explore many of them.

Order only water, or tea. And if you choose tea bring your own sweetener (I recommend Stevia, though Sweet Leaf is good) as aspartame and splenda are artificial and can have side effects. As for at the house, stop buying it? Seriously, your mind will crave whatever is around really, no way around it. Sugar will keep you addicted to it. Just make the right grocery list, and encourage your family members to do the same if you're living with them. We weren't meant to be drinking coke, sprite, etc. …

Quote from superhuman: “It's just a little all over the place. I do sometimes still b+p but it's only a few times a week, nothing too serious. Generally I'll have a normal breakfast (cereal) but after that I just eat junk food or very little. I'm not sure how to eat 'healthily' or how muchI'm supposed to have. I've slightly forgotten.” Well, if you want to maintain weight most of the time taking your weight x14-15 will be your maintenance calories. Healthy protein sources: Eggs (just the whites …
